Thank you all for coming out to support the Cantabile Chamber Singers and the Michael R. Applin Award for compassionate care in Nursing. The concert was a success!
Cecilia Livingston, our composer- in – residence was at the concert for the premiere of ‘Remember Me’ and was extremely pleased with the performance. Many audience members commented on how lovely the piece sounded. Congrats to Cecilia!
Thank you to Salvatore Leonetti Salon, and Janx Enterprises for their donations! We also need to thank St. Clement’s Anglican Church for providing us our wonderful space to perform in. Last but not least, to Peter Olsen for recording our concert. He is one of the best sound engineers in the city!
We are proud to have performed works by Msgr. J.E. Ronan, Imant Raminsh, Rupert Lang, Norbert Palej, Eric Whitacre, Randall Stroope, Jordan Nobles and Rob Teehan.
We have also received news that we have been invited to attend Le Mondial Choral Loto – Quebec in Laval. This is an international choral festival held in late June.
