Introducing our Soprano Soloist for Mozart Madness!
Iowa native Christina Austin recently graduated with a Master of Music degree from the University of Minnesota where she studied with Barbara Kierig. She covered the role of the Konigin der Nacht and performed in various scenes in opera workshop. She has participated in scenes workshops with Opera Arriva and La Musica Lirica. Last summer she sang Mrs. Jenks in ‘The Tender Land’ with S.O.L.T. She has also performed the roles of Queen of the Night and Miss Silverpeal and was a featured soloist at An Evening with Simon Estes at the Iowa Hall of Pride. Currently, Christina is a staff singer at St. George’s on the Hill and a member of and frequent soloist with Cantabile Chamber Singers.
