Good first day of October!
Our Cantabile ‘save the date’ 2013/2014 season postcards are out, and they are looking pretty great!
Come out to our first show of our season on October 15th 2013 – 7:30 pm at the University of Toronto, Walter Hall (80 Queen’s Park) inside of the music faculty. The concert features the music of Laura Silberberg with artists like the Gryphon Trio, percussionist Bev Johnston, Ton Beau quartet and of course, US! This is a show that you should not miss. It is also free. Yes, free.
All of our season concerts start at 7:30 p.m

The December 7th, 2013 concert will feature Hymn to St Cecilia by Benjamin Britten, a wonderful intimate work celebrating the patron saint of music. Other works will include something hot off the press by our composer in residence Ben Jisoo Kim and also a Christmas Carol Sing-along with audience participation. Lots of fun indeed! Please bring a non-parishable food item to donate to the Food Bank as part of our out-reach program. There are many who are less fortunate than us and we would like to give back as much as we can.
Our final concert this season will be on March 29th, 2014, 7:30 pm, Grace Church on the hill featuring the music of J.S. Bach and guest artists. This will be another benefit concert and a donation will be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
