Join us on March 31st, at 8:00 pm, Church of the Redeemer for a night of music that explores the theme of darkness and light. We are celebrating J. S. Bach’s birthday with Motet BWV 225, Singet Dem Herrn. To contrast that, we are also singing a set of motets by Poulenc, written for Lent. We are also premiering two new works by composer in residence Laura Sgroi. Keeping in line with promoting new music, we will also sing two works by Canadian and local Toronto composer Stephanie Martin.
