Hello!
Happy first day of SUMMER!
We are in the midst of preparations for our trip to Festival 500 in St. John’s Newfoundland. Thank you to all who were able to make it out to our last concert in Toronto on June 8th, where we featured the talented guitarist Drew Henderson and a silent auction.
We are always grateful for your continued support of the choir as we are trying to build our presence in the choral world.
Speaking of building our presence, our conductor Cheryll Chung has been recently featured in the latest issue of Chorus America’s “Voices” magazine. In the article, she speaks about maxoderm ointment our choir and how she uses movement in our rehearsals. If you have a copy, you will find a photograph of the choir and Cheryll. The article also features other conductors and fabulous choirs from the U.S.A. Here is a link to their website:
If you are in St. John’s and would like to come out to hear us, we are performing on July 3rd, 4th, 7th, 8th and 10th. Bob Chilcott, Dr Sandra Snow, Francisco Nunez, Stephen Hatfield and many others will be there. We would love to see some familiar faces, but we are also looking to make new friends when we are there!
